The bag showed up in good shape and the quality is solid. Nice. I just wasn’t expecting the extra customs/import fees, so that was a bit annoying. Oof. Overall I’m still happy with it, I just wish that part had been made clearer before ordering.

I really wanted to love this bag, it does look good. But for the price, shouldn’t it feel a little more premium? The material is okay, just not anything special, and a few parts feel kind of cheap to me. It works fine and does the job, but would I say it’s worth what I paid? Not really.

I bought from Solgaard one time. After that, my inbox got flooded with marketing emails. I unsubscribed, but they still kept coming. It’s really annoying. it makes me not want to order from them again...

I ordered from Solgaard expecting it to arrive before my trip, but the shipping date kept getting pushed back. The tracking just sat in the same spot for days, and I had to keep checking on it myself. When I reached out to customer service, the replies were slow and vague, mostly just telling me to wait. I get that delays can happen, but it would’ve been nice to get clearer updates without having to chase them down. By the time the order finally arrived, it was too late for what I needed it for. it was a really frustrating delivery experience

I don’t want to be too harsh, but my experience with Solgaard support wasn’t great. I had to wait longer than expected to hear back, and it felt like I kept having to follow up just to get a basic answer. I get that teams can be busy, but as a customer, I’d rather not keep chasing for updates. It made the whole process feel more stressful than it needed to be, i’d be a bit cautious before reaching out again

I tried ordering twice. Both times the site showed the item as available, took my payment, then canceled the order later. Frustrating. Not a great experience.

The order confirmation had all the right items listed, which is what I was mainly looking for. I just expected the delivery date to match what I saw at checkout, and it seemed a little off in the email. Not a big issue, but it did make me double-check things.

The item itself was fine and the ordering process seemed okay at first, but the preorder/backorder info really wasn’t clear. I only found out later that I’d be waiting a lot longer than I expected. The updates were minimal too, so I felt like I had to keep checking in just to get basic info. Kind of frustrating overall, and I probably wouldn’t order again

I was trying to order from Solgaard and everything seemed normal at first. The checkout page showed one total, so I went ahead with it, but then my card showed a different charge after payment. It wasn’t some massive amount, but it still threw me off because I was going by the price I saw on the screen.
I reached out to support, but the replies were slow and mostly just told me to wait. I don’t know if it was taxes, currency conversion, a glitch, or something else, because nobody really explained what happened.
The bags might be totally fine, but this kind of checkout issue makes me hesitant to order again. If the final charge can change without much context, that’s just not a great feeling.

"Service was a headache"
I might be fuzzy on every little detail, but I definitely remember how frustrating this was. The return process felt slow and confusing, and I had to follow up with support more than once just to get anywhere. The replies I got felt copy-pasted too, like they weren’t really reading what I was saying. Warranty support wasn’t much better. They kept asking me for things I’m sure I had already sent, then would disappear for days. For what this costs, I expected a lot better. I won’t be buying from them again.

The discount code didn’t work for me at first, which was a little frustrating, though it wasn’t a huge deal. I tried again later and it went through, so I ended up getting the discount after all

"Am I the only one not totally convinced by the mission?"
Am I the only one who felt like the sustainability message sounded a little more like branding than actual proof? I do like that they’re talking about it, and the product itself is fine, but for the price I expected more transparency. I wish they shared clearer details about the materials and the real impact instead of mostly using nice-sounding language. Overall, it’s okay, but I’m not fully sold on the mission yet.

"Looks Great, but the Zipper Let Me Down"
I’ll say this upfront: I really do like the design, and it looks cool. I’m not trying to be overly picky here, but after just a few trips, the zipper started getting stuck. For something that’s supposed to be used while traveling, that’s frustrating. It’s a shame because otherwise I was happy with it

The site looks nice overall, but it took me a bit to find some of the details I was looking for. Checkout did work in the end, so no big issue there, it just felt a little slow and like there were too many steps tbh. Not terrible, just could be smoother.

"Color looked nothing like the photos"
I ordered this after looking at the photos on solgaard.co, and maybe I just expected it to look too much like the pictures, but the color that arrived felt way off. In person it was darker and more muted, almost like I had gotten a different item.
I know screens can make colors look different, so I keep wondering if I’m being too picky, but for the price I really thought the product photos would be more accurate. I was disappointed and don’t think I’d order again.
